Israel Trip–Day 6
Trip to Jerusalem, Mt. Scopus, Mt. of Olives and Palm Sunday Road, Garden of Gethsemane, Bethlehem

The Judean Desert east of Jerusalem.

Going UP to Jerusalem. You can’t tell that well, but the path up is very steep. This road is built along the same road that the ancients used.

The first view Jesus would’ve had of the temple mount on his way up from the Jordan River. Now, Islam’s Dome of the Rock sits on the mount.

Mt. of Olives. Olive trees.

Garden of Gethsemane.

Some of the landscape outside of Bethlehem. Not the nice, rolling plains we all think of in America, are they?
